Terms of Use

By using WorkLog, you agree to the terms below. They describe in plain language how the product works and what is expected from you.

What WorkLog is

WorkLog helps developers and freelancers track work hours, projects, clients, payments, and productivity. WakaTime is the source of coding hours.

Account and sign-in

Access uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the projects, clients, rates, and notes you add.

WakaTime integration

WakaTime is optional and uses OAuth as the standard flow, with permission to read projects and time summaries. Tokens, or an API key used as an advanced option, are encrypted for synchronization.

You may disconnect the integration; previously synchronized data is preserved. Synchronization depends on WakaTime API availability, limits, and rules. WakaTime is an external provider, not an official WorkLog partner.

Client data and content

You are responsible for data you enter and must have authorization or another appropriate basis for client and third-party information, including contacts, documents, notes, and receipts.

Content written by you is not translated automatically. Language and currency are presentation and organization settings.

Public shares

You decide when to create, activate, send, or deactivate a public link. It is read-only, but anyone with the URL can open it while active.

Review projects, rates, payments, external links, and the option to show commits before sharing. You are responsible for the recipients and content you choose to publish.

Amounts and calculations

WorkLog organizes hours and values based on the settings you provide. Results are operational estimates and depend on the quality of that data.

Different currencies remain separate. WorkLog does not provide foreign exchange or automatic currency conversion and is not a bank, financial institution, accounting system, or official tax system.

WorkLog Pro

  • Creating an account is free, but full access requires WorkLog Pro at the BRL launch price shown by the product.
  • A PIX payment grants 30 days of access as a one-off payment with no automatic renewal.
  • When available, card subscriptions are recurring and processed by AbacatePay.
  • Trials, promotional access, or internal access may be offered at WorkLog's discretion and do not create a permanent entitlement.
  • Prices may change; any applicable price is communicated before a new charge.
  • A 7-day refund guarantee applies under the conditions on the Refund page.

Availability

We work to keep the service stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or an error-free service. Maintenance and improvements may require temporary interruption.

Permitted use and abuse

You agree to use WorkLog lawfully. Fraud, abuse, improper chargebacks, or attempts to bypass payment may pause access for review without deleting your data.

Closing your account and data

If a paid period expires or is canceled, data is preserved while app access may be limited. Disconnecting an integration does not delete imported history. You can permanently delete your account through Profile → Danger zone after recent Google authentication and explicit confirmation.
